How to update a Leader SAT on an iOS device

This article describes the procedure to do an over-the-air update of your kien SAT in Leader mode. Note: if you have a kien SUB, we recommend you to update your kien SAT in Follower mode. Please refer to this article for the procedure. 

Here is how to update a Leader SAT on an iOS device:

Step 1. Plug your SAT to the power using the power supply

Step 2. Power on your SAT

Step 3. Your SAT should be in Leader mode (Blue LED). If not, press the mode button once

Step 4. Pair your device to the SAT. If you have trouble pairing, please read this article.

Step 5. Open the kien app

Step 6. Go to the Leader SAT tab

Step 7. Click on the SAT tile

Step 8. Click on 'Firmware' 

Step 9. You are now on the Update page. Do not click on Update just yet.  

Step 10. Go to your Bluetooth setting and Disconnect from the SAT

Step 11. Go back to the kien app and click on the 'Update' button

Step 12. Your speaker is updating. It should take between 5 and 10 minutes 

Step 13. The update was successful!
