The Sats still suffer from random volume levels in the app after the latest firmware update. 

Is this to be fixed in the next App update or should it have been fixed by the latest firmware update?

  Hi Paul, 

  This is indeed still a problem for iOS users due to some Bluetooth Low Energy issues. We are working on it and will include it in a firmware update as soon as it's ready.

  Hi Jorn. To add to this, it's not just an app issue in that adjusting the volume using the touch strip on the Sats also produces random volume levels between Sats. When you turn the volume up and down (whether with the app or the Sat touch strip) the Sats all adjust to audibly different levels. And those levels are not represented in the app.

  Hi Paul, 

  Thanks for bringing this to our attention too. I have informed our developers about it. We will try to solve all these volume issues with the next firmware update, which should be released at the end of October.

  Any chance that you could do a video on how to use the touch strip to adjust volume and control playback? I just can't figure it out. I can do a full circle around the Sat and it doesn't do anything. Then all of a sudden it recognises that something's happening and it turns it all the way up. So you try to turn it down a bit and it turns it all the way down. It can take me a full minute to move it one increment due to it going all the way one way or the other. In the end, I don't know what I did to get it to stop at the desired volume.
  I'd love to see how you use the touch strip so I can try to replicate it. Whatever I'm doing now is certainly not working.

  Hi Paul,

  • Do you experience this with all of your SATs?
  • Has this always been an issue, or did it occur only recently?
  • Do you experience the same behavior of the touch ring in both Leader mode and Follower mode?

  If the volume doesn't change when you make a full circle on the ring then something is wrong. I will create a video of the right behavior and share it with you later.

  Hi Jorn. Yes, it's all Sats, has been like this from the beginning and in both Leader and Follower mode. It's these factors which has me assuming that it is user error. So I look forward to seeing your video of correct operation.
